Dwayne Johnson Called the Studio to Remove Black Adam From ‘Shazam!’: It’d Be a ‘Disservice’ to the Character

Dwayne Johnson’s DC passion project “Black Adam” will finally open in theaters this October 2022 (The Rock” Johnson)

Dwayne Johnson is setting up a battle very much like his hero character Black Adam. (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was behind separating Black Adam and Shazam! movies)

The Rock will be joining the DC universe in a feature film revolving around the antihero and it was the actor that fought to give his character his own origin movie.

At the point when the principal draft of the film came to us, it was a mix of Black Adam and Shazam: Two histories in a single film

Warner Bros. at last concurred, and presently Johnson is featuring the independent "Dark Adam" tentpole this fall.

Johnson has over and over guaranteed moviegoers that his "Dark Adam" film will always change the DC universe on the big screen.

Joining the entertainer in the film are Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari and Pierce Brosnan.

However, before Warner Bros. Discovery can continue banishing what’s left of the SnyderVerse to the Phantom Zone, they still have a couple of movies to unload.

The first is Black Adam, one of the more confusing additions. Years after Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced he would be playing Black Adam before teasing that he would be playing Shazam

he re-announced on Twitter that was Black Adam, Shazam’s nemesis, who has a similar power set and costume but a bad attitude. Then in 2019, an actual Shazam! movie starring Zachary Levi,

who is most definitely not Dwayne Johnson, hit theaters. "Dark Adam" opens in performance centers on October 21
